Reasi Police has cracked a motorcycle snatching case within days, arresting the accused and recovering the stolen vehicle. On 28.04.2026, Usha Devi of Trintha reported that her son Deepak Kumar was assaulted near Trintha and his motorcycle JK20C-1417 was forcibly snatched by Shaheen Parvaz Magrey. Acting on the complaint, PS Reasi registered FIR No. 77/2026 under sections 307/115(2)/126(2) BNS and launched an investigation.The accused was apprehended and the motorcycle recovered. He was produced before court and remanded to police custody. Notably, Magrey is a habitual offender with prior cases under IPC and NDPS Act.The investigation was led by SHO Insp. Khyatimaan Khajuria under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Sh. Vishal Singh Jamwal and Addl. SP Sh. Iftkhar Ahmed, JKPS, with overall supervision by SSP Reasi Sh.
