Amazon on Monday inaugurated its new office in North Bengaluru, marking its second-largest office in Asia and reaffirming its long-term commitment to investing in India.
The expansive campus, located about 15 kilometres from Kempegowda International Airport, spans 1.1 million square feet across 12 floors and sits on a five-acre site. The facility is designed to accommodate more than 7,000 employees and will house multiple business verticals under one roof.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by M. B. Patil, Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Government of Karnataka, who served as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Patil highlighted the importance of such investments in boosting the State’s economic and technological ecosystem.
“Amazon’s continued investment in Bengaluru reflects India’s growing role as a global technology and innovation hub. Large-scale campuses like this create high-quality jobs, strengthen the local ecosystem, and support India’s digital economy.
