Delhi Congress BLO workload issue has been raised by Devender Yadav, who has written to top authorities seeking relief for poll workers.
The letter was sent to Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, and Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Ashok Kumar.
Delhi Congress BLO Workload During SIR
Devender Yadav said that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are facing heavy pressure while working on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
He pointed out that many BLOs are teachers and government staff who already have regular duties. Managing both academic and election work is becoming difficult for them.

According to Yadav, government employees working as BLOs are under serious mental stress.
He said tight deadlines and extra workload are making their working conditions very tough.
“Government employees, especially teachers working as BLOs, are under immense mental stress due to excessive workload and tight deadlines,” he said.

The Delhi Congress has requested authorities to reduce the burden on BLOs.
Yadav asked that proper steps should be taken so that employees can manage their work without stress and pressure.
He stressed that their working conditions should be made easier and more balanced.
