Reasi Police Anti-Drug Drive Under Nasha Mukt Abhiyan
Reasi Police anti-drug drive was carried out strongly on April 17, 2026 under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.
The drive was led by SSP Mukund Tibrewal in Reasi, where police teams organised awareness programmes and checking drives in many areas.
Reasi Police Anti-Drug Drive Awareness Activities
Under the Reasi Police anti-drug drive, awareness programmes were held at Government General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College Reasi, Bus Stand Reasi, Kunderdhan, Govt Model Middle School Mahore, High School Jaller Sildhar and Yatra Registration Counter Ransoo.
Students, teachers, local people, Gujjar and Bakarwal community members, and pony and palki operators took part in these programmes.
Police officials explained the harmful effects of drugs and also informed about strict punishment under the NDPS Act.
Reasi Police Anti-Drug Drive Inspection of Chemist Shops
As part of the Reasi Police anti-drug drive, checking of chemist shops was also done in Sujandhar, Sildhar, Theot Ransoo and Panthal areas.
Police checked if medicines are being sold properly and not misused. Shopkeepers were given clear instructions to follow rules and avoid illegal sale.
Reasi Police Anti-Drug Drive Message to Society
During the Reasi Police anti-drug drive, people were asked to stay away from drugs and follow a healthy life.
Police also requested people to spread awareness in their homes and villages and support the mission of a drug-free society.

Police said their aim is to protect youth and remove drug problems from society by working with the public.
